When I started school, in 1950, the Principal kept a paddle in his office. I only had the experience once… that I told my Dad about. He gave me another one.

In my opinion the biggest failure of the cartoon was that Caesar never appeared. The character I would have like to have seen most next is Ms. Peterson. Unfortunately the cartoon made Huey’s teacher (Mr. P) in the comic Riley’s teacher for one episode and in the cartoon Huey had a teacher in a Christmas episode who was never seen again.
