I’m looking forward to all of the Republicans posting lists of what their side has actually done. Ah, wait. I know who’s here. The conservatives here aren’t capable of much beyond name calling & posting unsupported opinion. Maybe a few exceptions…. we’ll see if they turn up. So many legitimate issues to take Obama to task over, yet the loyal opposition doesn’t care about them.

^They got bin Laden, well, no, check that. 2008 was the greatest year in U.S. economic history, well, no, check that. Quarter million dead for a grudge, including over 5,000 of our own, yep, they did that.

@2012 – Whole heartedly agree. This encapsulates the Juvenile, Whining, incompetent President to a tee. We will be well served when he is only a problem for the kids having to learn about him in the history books. As the President who was incapable of working with Congress and so accomplished nothing

@Michale – Big Deal. By the time they killed Osama bin Laden he was a grizzled old man hiding in a cave with very little power left. I wouldn’t have been impressed if the Bush administration captured him and I certainly wasn’t impressed to watch Obama strut and crow like he single handedly conqured the taliban (A group once again on the insurgence due to Mr. Obama’s incompetence).

The man makes a statement about a legitimate problem and, instead of considering what he said, people denigrate him. This is typical of the American public’s attitude toward any problem. Attack the people who speak up, they think, and the problem will just go away.

Unfortunately, “The Republican Handbook” is not sold at Barnes & Noble, or at any small, independent bookstores. One MUST join the Republican party to get a copy. However, while at a friend’s party about ten years ago, I came across the book in his man cave, and flipped through it. The topic of part of this ’toon is covered in Chapter 1 “Stifling Your Opponent” (pages 1-245). Name calling is dealt with in chapter 5 “Slandering Your Opponent” (pp 751-816).

It was Obama who said that he would not negotiate with the congress. He will negotiate with terrorists, but not congress.

You do realize you are paying your Republican Representatives and Senators a hefty salary plus pension to not work?

@ossiningaling – But they aren’t doing nothing. Those Senators and Representatives are working Damn hard to keep Mr. Obama from giving this country away to Terrorists, cheap foreign labor, illegal workers, Welfare queens (and cheats), Disability Dorothys and all the other groups that would like to Weaken America so that they might be stronger.

Every Republican that stands up to vote against Obama’s special brand of Stupid, Every Senator that filibusters a Pelosi and Reid Abomination is a Hero in my book.

You assume that nobody is happy if Obama isn’t getting his way and you are wrong. Many of us sleep better at night knowing that there are Republican Senators and Representatives standing up for OUR rights. You may not like it but those of us who produce, and pay taxes, and work for a living have the right to be safe from the looting that Obama would like to visit upon us.

He’s doing what he can on his own because the Republicans are doing a great job. If they can’t accomplish anything that Obama won’t veto, then they can stall so that the Democrats can’t accomplish anything either. Their intention is to keep everything just as it is, unless they can manage to return to the “good old days” of the 19th century, before there was a middle class and when only the landed gentry were voters. And, they have a great strategy for accomplishing this. 1. Disenfranchise everyone you possibly can, unless they are dependable Republican voters.2. Produce ads and media emphasis which emphasizes those politicians who are corrupt and incompetent. Paint all Democrats with the same slime. Lacking sufficient actual slime, simply make some up. This undermines the people’s trust in their government and makes them feel like helpless pawns, so they tune out the whole process and accept the status quo. 3. Support the “job creators”, who are the recipients of a huge portion of the GNP, although that GNP was produced by working people, who are receiving less benefit from it every day. This gives them the money to accomplish the other two goals, and leaves everyone except the “job creators” with increasingly less money to mount a counter campaign. So, this is the way we are going lose the middle class and become a country inhabited only by the very rich 1%, and a 99% who are too busy working two jobs to survive to notice.

Representatives are supposed to help govern and this crowd in Congress refuse to. For four years at the least.

If you think this isn’t true, name one thing the Republicans have done — except blocking the President and calling him names.

Boehner getting drunk and crying doesn’t count.

“When a child throws a tantrum, parents say “No!” The GOP is simply providing good parenting to the child in the Whitehouse.”Your “Rules for Radicals” was written by Karl Rove. Guess what radicals he was writing for?

Umm, it is what they do. They don’t do anything, then whine and cry when he does something without them. House Republicans are the real crybabies. Beohner said that they should be judged on what they repeal. So far they haven’t even done that! Failures.

“I look forward to LWNJ’s claiming they aren’t blocking all the house jobs bills in the Senate, or the budget bills from the House, or most anything from the House. Look it up yourself.”Been there, done that. Bills designed to roll back environmental protections, cut unemployment benefits & give more tax breaks to the wealthy are not going to create jobs when demand is weak.I asked for concrete examples. If you’re too lazy to do your homework, don’t ask me to do it for you.
