Football or the polar bears?

Washington team. Highest prices, one of the worst teams. D.C seems to poison pro athletes.

Mallett may be referring to the growing concern over concussions and brain injuries.

Give the polar bears some shoulder pads. They’d make great linemen.

I lost interest in all pro athletics long ago. Money ruins pretty much everything after a while.

Not only that, this “unionize and pay college athletes” push is going to kill collegiate athletics.

Fall is the best weather time of the year, imo – why waste the weekend watching others play? Get outside!

I lost interest in football when I did the math and realized that the outcome of any given game is about 80-90 percent dependent on random events, not superior skills or strategies (in part thanks to the NFL’s official policy of parody—I mean, parity—in which the schedules, rosters and rules are manipulated to assure that the best teams are only a little better than the worst teams). Maybe this is why pro football is the sport of choice for gamblers…

I’m waiting to see if the Buffalo Bills will move to Toronto. Jon Bon Jovi and company has some serious compitition to buy them.

Is “Churchill” a place? The first thing I thought of was Winston Churchill which, in context of the strip, makes no sense.

SO glad that the “What I will do this summer” story arc is over, after what – a month or so? Kids go back to school tomorrow around here, lol.
