The other odd thing about the second panel is that Kaz and Gil both appear to be wearing war paint.

Neal Rubin and Rod Whigham obviously do not care about Gil Thorp’s past success.

Wait…why will Gill see True “at the end of the season”? Did they just make plans for a post-season Hoo? Won’t they see each other when Milford plays Valley Tech?

In all reality , I think Gil will see True before the end of the season when things don t work out for True or his Dad at Valley Tech.

That artwork in P2 has me thinking of those optical illusion pictures. I can’t tell if that is a panel with Gil’s state championship walking away or a picture of a Grecian urn.
