Judgment is constant and ongoing, but you only realize that decisions were made when the consequences become apparent. Some people believe that there is no actual judgment until that realization. They may be right.
ran into a friend the other day hadn’t seen him in years, started to tell him how great it was seeing him again, and he put me on hold…I couldn’t wait…sorry? not.
After I sold my business, I went into “consultant mode” for a few years. I received a call from a business in central USA, made an appointment to visit him, and flew down at my expense..While sitting in his office and in the middle of our discussion his phone rang. Without saying anything, he picked up the phone and answered the call. I sat there for a few seconds, got up and headed for the door..Upon seeing me leaving, he said, “Where are you going?”.I responded, “Well, you called me and wanted to discuss some problems you were having with your business, so I made an appointment with you, traveled several hundred miles, and expected you wanted to talk to me. I’m going back to my home office. You can call me there!”

His phone must have died the same time he did.
