With all the pens that people steal from work, with all the freebies they get from banks and other businesses, they still never carry any of them around but are always trying to bum one off somebody else.
A man in our neighborhood when I was a kid worked in the steel mill and brought home a special firebrick everyday in his lunch bucket. He used them to make a patio. Wouldnât have been caught had he laid them with the manufacturerâs logo down. He invited all his bosses from the mill to a party when the patio was done. Got busted when they saw the logos on the bricks. The patio got torn up and the bricks were returned to the mill. And of course, he got fired!
Your story reminds me of that idiot who recently got caught after years of stealing old tombstones from a military Veteranâs cemetery and used them to make the floor of a carport. He was also caught and fired.
