When watching Grandma is more entertaining than watching TV…

First grade teacher used to read a chapter to us every morning. One day she stopped in the middle of a read, saw her eyes switch to the next page. Then she closed the book and we never heard the rest of the story. Didn’t understand at the time.

Found myself doing this a lot during commercials when the kids were little.

Funny, the first married T.V. couple to sleep in the same bed was Fred and Wilma Flintstone, now you you can’t watch even a commercial with a child in the room.

That’s why universal remotes were invented. :D

And now two aspirins for the aching joints that are sure to come.

I wouldn’t allow soap operas to be seen in my home anyway, so that problem would never occur.

Meanwhile, in today’s strip at creators.com, who knows, Ruthie? Who knows?

My bff and I went to the movies with her toddlers in the back seat. We were a bit high (don’t judge please, just a bit of a buzz) and Heavy Metal on the screen. We heard a little voice from the backseat go “What they doing?” during the sex scene.. I died.. LOL!

A few months ago, the now grown up boy, cracked up when I mentioned we’d taken them with us to see it, he said THAT’S where I know it from!

Yes, Grandma scrambling for the remote controls is good entertainment.

Wow, I want to get Grandma and Grandpa’s cable provider! Saucy wench, indeed!
