I can’t see the comic strip! Can’t see Frog Applause either. Other people have already commented on FA, however, so I know it’s up there. Tried a different browser, but even after emptying the cache, it’s still displaying yesterday’s strip and comments.

It happened! It’s the end of the world as I know it. A “red x” instead of DT!

I knew Flight Suit’s “Floooms” would lead to no good!

Same thing here. No 2 Cows & Chicken, Brenda Star, Broom Hilda, etc Did most of the cartoonist go on strike today?

No Annie, either. However, I can see The City. Maybe that means something…

Well we can just make up our own installment, then! Let’s see…

I’m picturing a close-up of Maestro’s face, and he’s exclaiming “Son!”

DT is either still muttering into his watch, or he’s standing over Virgil, asking “Why?”

Any further progress is too much to hope for.

Well, in today’s comic, Dick looks sad in the last panel as he sees that the lad is d e a d.

What happened? I can’t read my comics. Just a blank screen.

Today’s comic strip is the best Dick Tracy in months! So good in fact, that no-doubt GoComics will censor it so as to ensure Calvin & Hobbes’ subscriber lead.

But I have made sure to save its majesty for posterity and those normal people who are actually sleeping at this hour (3:00 AM ET) who’ll likely miss it too.

By the way, using FireFox 3.6 or Safari on a Mac, I can’t even see the rectangular space where the strip’s supposed to be. Nor can I see the little red X.

Not much to miss, just Phil bemoaning the loss of his son, saying “speak to me son” and Tracy adding “He can’y Maestro” !

Since censorship is the norm here, maybe Locher’s work is offensive to Liam and he bleeped today’s installment. WTG Liam!

Looks like it’s fixed, for me at least.

He sure died awfully quick for only a single gunshot to the stomach.

Looks like Dick is once again taking it upon himself to declare a person dead at a glance. We’ve gone into how stupid and dangerous that is in previous adventures. I hate to think of children reading this stuff and thinking that’s the way to act.

Well, Dad has finally learned that something is more important than a Stradivarius….too late.

The only red x’s I see on this one now are in the son’s eyes. He’s kaput, extinct, deceased, assumed room temperature.

I’m so glad that I slept late so that I had no problem seeing today’s strip.
