I usually love this comic strip, but this joke is generations old.
I was wondered why those first two people who thought it was a bird or a plane were so excited.
“It’s a bird, it’s a plane — {plop} it’s a bird!” goes back to at least 1957, when we passed it around in the fifth grade.
First time I heard that one, an archaeopteryx splatted me.
More powerful than a locomotive, able to leap tall buildings in a single bound……and yet he still walks to work?
Little birdy in the sky. Why’d you do it in my eye? I’ve been good and I don’t cry. Boy, I’m glad elephants can’t fly!
