50% ground beef, huh? I wonder what the other 50% is. Maybe not. I think I’ll be looking for the door. And I think Tad should give Joy the Manager’s Special just because they are such wonderful customers. An extra slice of cheese with a monster luge in between.

You are bad, Mikie, but not too far off. We quit eating at Jack in the Box after my son’s friend told us some of the stuff that goes on in those places. Like sweeping the floor and dumping it in the lettuce. And it gets worse! Finally Burt met someone dumber than himself. And just who is buying PCBs for $1.98?

Burl wouldn’t know it, but I bet he has eaten a lot of spit, and other stuff, in his food.

That must be Mickky Dees . I wonder why they hire X students that can’t take an order or talk understandably.

The food isn’t good either any more. At least down here in my part of the world. We quit eating there years ago when he found an unknown object in his food. Oh well other places to go you know.

Clearly, this is just a sequence from a dream of Burl’s where he finds someone dumber than he is. Joy would NEVER fail to demand everything on it she could get and would demand free double cheese (because the slice was thin last time) and extra catsup packets for both of them (dinner party coming up).

I think this young fellow is being a bit snarky to Joy.++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++However, I bet it is because some other Crustwoodian who is similar in ilk to the Pennys pulled the suggested maneuver of ordering a cheeseburger with nothing on it…. and then when it HAD cheese, they said it was wrong and demanded the item for free. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++I cannot imagine Joy wanting anything plain…. especially when all the “fixins’” are freebes! I would have thought it more likely that she would have wanted double or triple of every condiment, relish, onion slice, etc that was available.

I’m SO glad I do my own cooking (and mostly the healthiest, hormone free, nitrate free stuff I can find).

My latest date looks for the same, which is why he opted to take me to Whole Foods, but also because we thought they’d have more dark beer on tap – nice first date and I’m behaving.

Hmmm: Wonder where the aliens whisked Joy off to when they left this obvious doppelganger? Come to think of it, who cares?

I once ordered an egg mcmuffin at macdonalds “without meat…just cheese”, and got an english muffin with just american cheese.
