I know this is flogging a dead horse, but really Nab.

I just looked up your state’s budget – half of LOTTERY revenue does go to education (k-12 and other).

When you look at the total budget (of which lottery contributes 1%), the total expenditure on education is 16%.

    Easily available FACTS.

I like(???) her statement that ‘our idea’ and that Elly could build it. Why do people ‘dump on Elly’, just because she is part-time volunteer help doesn’t mean that everything has to be put in her lap ! ! !!

Apparently, sweet lovable trolls enjoy having children spill liquids in their cars while their mothers do nothing to clean it up. If the car owner is not overjoyed, the troll states that the car owner is ‘slamming’ the mother. Mothers don’t have any responsibility for the bad actions of their kids in Trollworld.-Trolls also like it when a boss tells someone that they need to create a large scale window display on no budget. Anyone who even thinks that a budget would be nice is a Bad Person in Trollworld.-Happy, happy trolls!-Does troll school teach the hating of anyone named ‘Elly’? Just curious.

Not sure about Canada, but in the United States whenever a lottery boasts of appropriating money to education (or healthcare, senior citizens, et cetera) it has no effect as before. If the state lottery says they will give $250 million a year to government schools, that simply means the legislature appropoiates $250 million less in their budget. Generally that is seen as trying to buy credibility and get away from the image that the lottery is an extra tax on the poor (as the poor buy more lottery tickets than anyone else).

Seems people are judged by their facial expressions. Very few people have the ability to read others’ thoughts. Ergo, if someone is thinking to themselves, others who look at it assume they are reacting to something they did.

Night-Gaunt49/Lynn’s Notes:Wasn’t that the time Eaton’s moved into the Jolly Green Giant’s bathtub? (a massive shiny white whole block structure with no windows). If the Bay (which can’t get over the fact they were chartered 2nd May 1670) had any display windows, they weren’t memorable..comicsssfan: What makes you think private ones are any different? They just funnel money to the owners (and any “achievement” figures can be explained by their power to expel any problem students).

Thank you for the background info. I was wondering who Elly’s co-worker was, and was going to ask earlier but got distracted. She’s cute.

Interesting bunch of comments, but as an artist who also likes to recycle materials (and did it a lot in scouting), I can say that this challenge to Elly would be one I’d enjoy rising to. (excuse ending).

Lynn is three years older than me — we were both admiring the same displays at the same time.
