Good idea, Luann, but you really need to keep quiet!
Elmer Gantry Fudd about 10 years ago
Two words that don’t belong together: “Gunther party.”
JayBluE about 10 years ago
Wow, them ears! She don’t miss much …. Except Gunther….. – A “light bulb” from Luann, to keep Mrs. B “in the dark”… – Hmm….What if the party had a “Gunthie look-a -like” contest?….
JayBluE about 10 years ago
“Continental Divide”“Ear Factor”“Savings And Lonely”“Keep Your Eyes On The Surprise”“Skype Hype”“Stall Waiting”“Ain’t Nothing Like The Real Thing” (♫)“Too Out Of Reach To Keep In Touch”“Mrs. B…And Some Company”or“No Mas For Ma Bell”

Party, party, party. Doesn’t Luann have an actual school to go to anymore, or did she drop out after her first class?
JayBluE about 10 years ago
Better than “National Hiccup Day”. They’re still getting the…. well… they’re working it all out….
peanuts511 about 10 years ago
HAHAHAHA!!!! this is one of my favorites
ORMouseworks about 10 years ago
Wouldn’t that be nice, IJB! However, I don’t know where he would get the money to fly “home.” I don’t know if he has been in Peru long enough to feel “at home.” I wish Greg hadn’t sent him down there…or, if he had to , have him come back by Christmas… ;)
ORMouseworks about 10 years ago
“…better “forget” about that one…" Funny! (even though Alzheimer’s is sad…). Gallows humor, guys… ;)

Tiffany’s brainstrokes are catching; Luanne just had one!
ORMouseworks about 10 years ago
You’re on a roll, Brdshtt! Yes, Parkinson’s is a nasty thing to have…but, the point is that this is gallows humor, too! ;)
ORMouseworks about 10 years ago
Maybe that is what they are planning…build a cardboard body and run a Photoshop photo of Gunther, and there you have it: a cardboard replica of him…not too sure about Quill, however… ;)
JayBluE about 10 years ago
“… If no one has noticed Quilly is one all this time…” ^LOL!!!! True!
ORMouseworks about 10 years ago
Hahahahahaha! ;)
JayBluE about 10 years ago
No, that’s not the “Surprise!” I had in mind…. – More of the planning of the “let’s all remind Mrs. B about her son, by throwing a theme party in honor of her son that she misses so much”…….kind… – It would seem well intended, but anything short of her actually seeing her son could cause her to miss him more. Unless she’s just touched by how much others care for her to go through this length..

Actually, it’s the best kind to hear about….

Since Rosa felt betrayed by working at an upscale plastic surgery clinic, maybe she and Gunther are now trying to serve the needs of the poor and hungry by working at the Lima branch of Weenie World.
JayBluE about 10 years ago
LOL, toilet humor! Now I’m flushed with awkward and bad feelings!

I thought the ordinance against lap dancing was because of how many times Jeff Gordon tried to do the robot after a NASCAR victory?

Ahhhhh…I’m 3/4 of the way to sleep…better say ‘Nite all, gather IS Katie, and shlep upstairs! ;)-———————————————————————-“Oh, when I was in love with you, Then I was clean and brave, And miles around the wonder grew How well did I behave. And now the fancy passes by, And nothing will remain, And miles around they’ll say that I Am quite myself again."(A. E. Housman, 1859-1936)

It’s also mandatory that the chili sauce down there be made with only authentic beans from the area. Only Lima beans are allowed…

Actually, the Lima branch of Weenie World has a special on that kabob favorite, llama-on-a-stick. Yum!

Those apron strings are awful long.

Not sure I’m understanding you Luann. If actually talking live to Gunther on Skype makes her feel lonelier, a party where everyone is there except for Gunther is going to make her feel better? It’s a nice thought Luann, but it doesn’t make much sense.Let’s get back to the other storyline where TJ invests in that building and builds a giant roller disco and Tiffany plays a singing Australian Muse on roller skates.

Wait, Wait, WAIT.
If Ma Berger MISSES Her Widdle Gunthie So Much Then Why In the Name of Charles Schulz did She Literally SHOVE Him Out the Door in the FIRST Place,HUH??? DIS-CONNECT!!!
Say, I’ve Got a GREAT Idea Q-ball! MOVE Out of the “Bat-Lady’s” House and Move IN with Bernice. All She She’s Got Is a Weasel, an Imaginary Roommate, and Freeloading, Drunken, Potentially Dangerous “Friends”…..,
TheLiam about 10 years ago
What a ridiculous idea on Luann’s part, I mean really. Though I’m so glad she doesn’t have school to worry about so she can plan this party.
Sisyphos about 10 years ago
Some of you guys are not taking Luann’s idea seriously, I think. But what would a “Gunther party” be like? How would it differ from, e.g., a Homecoming Weekend party (shouldn’t there be one one of those coming up soon at Moony U. and probably at Pitts CC, too)?
KEA about 10 years ago
She needs to get a life. People who ONLY think about their children are pathetic. …well people who have children are pathetic, but the former more so.
2Goldfish about 10 years ago
So, all they do is party anymore?
seismic-2 Premium Member about 10 years ago
What’s Luann’s major at Pitt CC? I wasn’t aware they give Associate’s degrees in “Hanging Out”.
luv2bead about 10 years ago
no wonder Gunther ran off to Peru. would be nice to see how he is doing with Rosa.
reedkomicks Premium Member about 10 years ago
Evans! No one wants to watch a “Gunther party” with the same old high school crowd. Give us a story with Luann at her own college making new friends. You’re falling back to stories that make sense when they’re in high school. They aren’t in high school, stop trying to get all the high schoolers together. Let them move on with their lives.-Yeah, and at least bring in Dez. And, if you want a party, well, isn’t there a wedding party to plan?

Dear God… Panel Three… Tiffany without lip gloss…Scary…
NorCalChuck about 10 years ago
Hey just buy her a ticket and send her on a visit down south. Now that would be awesome . . . . .
Pipe Tobacco Premium Member about 10 years ago
Perhaps Luann’s “Gunther Party” will be akin to the various parties that Mary Richards (played by the actress Mary Tyler Moore) threw on the Mary Tyler Moore Show. They were always a horrendous flop with people feeling very lackluster and uncomfortable. Gee, the idea of it has me humming the theme song to the show…. a wonderful theme song. I will find a link…. here it is if you want to relive (or experience for the first time) this wonderful theme song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Zfti7b31rs

Clark, you left out a couple of syllables. Tiff is a natural “em-ergern-cee”
JayBluE about 10 years ago
"As howtheduck said, throw her a party. A party where the theme is not “let’s talk about the son you miss so much”…. ^Same thing I also said, up above….

> What would a Gunther party be like?>Think of the worst party you’ve ever attended in your whole life. After the Gunther party, you will remember that other one as “the good old days”.
ACTIVIST1234 about 10 years ago
If Gunther attends the party via Skype (as Quill attended his Valentine dinner with Lu), I can see two scenarios:1) It will be the first time someone other than his mom threw a party for him, and he’ll tear up.2) He will be looking h-o-t in those new clothes Sophia took him out to buy.
ACTIVIST1234 about 10 years ago
Oh, and when they ask to speak to Rosa, he’ll respond that she left to go back to the States and to Yale.
seismic-2 Premium Member about 10 years ago
Fly Mrs. Berger down to Lima to visit Gunther, and while she’s there, give her a major reconstruction at the plastic surgery clinic. She can become the hottest lady in Pitt. Quillie will never leave the house, Sorry, Luann.
Meh~tdology, fka Pepelaputr about 10 years ago
I think howtheduck has nailed it; a “Gunther Party” where everyone dresses like the Gunther they knew in high school (wouldn’t they feel like fools if Gunth appears via Skype dressed sharp and stylish?). Kind of a lame and disrespectful idea, but no one will say “nay” to Luanne . And as long as Evans continues to show that he has no idea how to show his characters in a higher education setting, we’ll never see them involved in college activities. He may have paid lip service to having them “graduate”, but really, they will never leave Pits HS .

Luann’s Parties for men:
I’d take a shine to a party for “National Baldness Day.”“National Vasectomy Day” parties, I’m afraid, would be limp.Pancreatic Cancer Parties could have as decorations, “C P”.

“Another Weekend at ORMie’s…” Oh, gosh, this is too funny ! ;)
ORMouseworks about 10 years ago
Maybe the gang will get together and finance Gunther a round-trip ticket to visit his Mom for the “Gunther party” ?! ;)
