Heart of the City by Steenz for October 25, 2014
Transcript:
I never stole nothing in my whole life...but I was so desperate to make Lori happy, I stuffed the Halloween costume in my old army jacket.... well, the folks in the store must've been watching me, cause as soon as I walked out the door, the cops were after me! As I ran from the cops, I ditched the costume in an alley. Then, just as I was about to get away--- Man: Freeze, slimeball!

Hm… what a model parent – telling his child (and now other children) that if you want something “desperately” it is OK to steal. And we are not talking about a piece of bread for a starving kid or that medicine that would save her life – no, we are talking about a COSTUME for a party.Slimeball.

He would have been better off opening it and stuffing the costume itself in his jacket. But then it wouldn’t be in mint condition and saleable.

I know this is old, but I have to ask if the cops were really going to shoot him on suspicion of shoplifting? Not that it couldn’t happen…
