Frazz: Coach Hacker brought in a ten- ounce bag of peanut butter cups.
Miss Plainwell: No way is that enough treats for everybody. No way!
Frazz: I think that's his lunch.
Miss Plainwell: No way.
Truthfully, eating a 10 oz bag of peanut butter cups is easy as heck. I have been finding the coach (Hacker) growing on me as a character the last couple of years. This revelation that he ate a bag for lunch only improves my opinion of the man.++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++For me, I could easily have eaten a whole bag of peanut butter cups, but I chose to not do so any longer. I really HAVE eaten 2 one-pound bags of candy corn in an evening a handful of times…. but I chose to not do so any longer. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++I never get upset, snotty, or judgemental about what people choose to eat. I have run the gambit over the years. When I lost 100 pounds several years ago, I decided to not indulge in the excesses I once did any longer…. not out of thinking the behavior negatively (I have some fond memories), but because I simply like how I feel now, at a normal BMI.
It seems that way sometimes, and I wish they were less restrictive. I think it’s pretty typical of schools these days – very overprotective. We’ve managed some creative options despite everything. Virtually all of the boys’ costumes would be against the rules if they actually enforced the rule about violent costumes. Jedi, superheroes, ninja, pirates, army rangers, etc. are not exactly peaceful professions. I suppose the ones being zombies or monsters for trick-or-treating must end up with two different costumes.
I’ve been telling my students that my costume will be “a teacher”. Got me some nice adolescent groans and eye rolls. Friday’s going to be an “interesting” day in middle school…

Miss Plainwell’s costume would have been twisted about 12 years ago, before Frazz asked her out.

How appropriate, a teacher as the Grim Reaper.

On the TV show “Supernatural” they are both. Man I wished they hadn’t killed off Tessa. She was my favorite reaper.
