Egad! Vitamin Flintheart will be famous once again, thanks to the “enchanting young lady.” Well, apparently he was only shocked at how enchanting she was, rather than scared about anything.
I think the name of the movie advertised in the poster in the first frame is Terror at Sea. Something like this National Geographic special:
Ok, if it was in your power to knock off one character from Tracyville who would it be? I’d like to see the curtain fall permanently on Vitamin at the conclusion of this story. He’s a pompous windbag and i’d shed no tears over his departure. NOTE: We are talking about comic strip characters so let’s not forget, “They’re Not Real!!!”.
Morning, Tracyville!Nah, they’re not going to bump Vitamin off. He may be a pompous old windbag, but every set of characters needs a pompous old windbag.

.Chapter 11
.Annie felt a burst of excitement running through her entire body. She found it impossible not to giggle out loud. “Golly, I must sound like a silly school girl”. She laughingly thought to herself. She knew her “Daddy” wouldn’t approve, nor would Amelia. “Actually, no one would approve of what I’m about to do”! She shouted at herself as she looked at her reflection in the mirror. “Wow, I don’t recognize myself and I know who I am”! She blurted out loud in astonishment over her transformation. Annie knew that it made no sense spying on Dr. Magpie looking like she normally did. Not if someone who wanted her dead was there. “Red hair’s always a giveaway, that’s for sure”. Annie was amazed how wearing different clothes, cutting her hair short and dying it black hair could transform her into a different person. “Let’s see them figure out who I am now”! She defiantly said out loud as she walked out of the door to her hotel room and into the thick of a mystery that she had no idea how it would end. The only thing that she knew for sure was that she felt like she was finally beginning to put the events of the recent past behind her and was actually starting to look forward with anticipation to whatever lay ahead. “Funny that I have to become someone else in order to really become Annie again”. She thought as the door closed behind her..Meanwhile, at the outskirts of town;.Tracy was glad he still remembered how to juggle three eggs without dropping them. “Medicine show, circus acts, performance troop, what’s the difference. They all need short term local help whenever they come to a new city”. Tracy thought as he walked up towards the temporary tent put up on the outskirts of the city. He was confident he could land some sort of job with Dr. Magpie’s group that would allow him to observe the goings on without drawing too much attention to himself. “Nothing special looking about this tent, although it does seem rather small”. Tracy pondered as he entered the tent. He wondered just how many acts went on inside. “Hey you, old man! Get out of here before I break you in half”! Startled at the loud, rough voice that seemed to come out of nowhere Tracy turned to his left to see who was the source of the insult and the threat aimed at him. Expecting to see some middle aged, overweight cigar smoking roughneck ready to throw him out Tracy was startled to see that the person attached to the voice was a very young, extremely beautiful looking female who appeared to be in her early twenties. “Wow did I peg that wrong”. Tracy thought as he quickly reminded himself it was never a good thing to stereotype. “Sorry Miss, I didn’t mean to trespass. I was hoping to find the person I need to talk to about getting a temporary job with the show”. Tracy waited for what seemed like an eternity for an answer, mesmerized by how beautiful the girl in front of him, who obviously was sizing him up looked. Finally she broke into a huge smile and walking over to him extended her hand out. “That would be me. Who are you”? Tracy silently sighed; relieved he was able to get his foot in the door. Or rather the tent. “My name’s Tracy, Dick Tracy. I’m a retired police officer and looking for a part time job with Dr. Magpie. May I ask your name”? “You may ask, I might tell you.” Tracy couldn’t tell if she was being serious or just joking around until she began to laugh. “Sorry, old corny joke I learned from my father. My name is Judy”. “Pleased to meet you Judy. “Hope all the jokes your dad taught you aren’t as bad as that last one”. “Hey Dick, don’t insult the hand that feeds you!" Tracy’s jaw dropped. “You mean,”? Judy started laughing out loud again. “Yes, my father is Dr. Magpie”. “Fascinating!” Was all Tracy could muster..To Be Continued……………
Cavorting with very young über-hotties is not for the faint of heart, Vitamin! And I mean that in the physical sense! Egad, sir, have you had your heart checked out by a physician lately? But a retrospective documentary would indeed be great publicity and a shot-in-the-arm for your national exposure!
YESTERDAY - NightShade09Implied :“As far as my uncle’s brain cancer, nobody in my family was ever involved in any litigation. Nobody. To suggest this is linked to making a buck is low. Really low.”-—————————————————————————-Well it seems you got that wrong too. Please READ my post again . . . I recall commiserating with you on your Uncle’s turn of eventsMy reference on LITIGATION had nothing to do with you or any member of your extended family . . .It was simply a point made in relation to a ‘necessity’ (possibly, for that Nurse in Canada) Which from Neils account of her case may well have been needed ! (?)
The major point I had made, was that few (if any?) KNOW people afflicted with Lung Cancer arising out of second-hand - .smoke.That’ certainly strengthened my impression after ALL of yesterday’s contributions. That BIRD is as rare the DODO !
Seems to indicate that, that part of the Law, is apparently there, more to buttress the ‘feelings’ and sensibilities of anti smokers, than to perform any useful function ! (?)
He’ll “ride again” in “her capable hands”? Is this unintentional humor, or…… ? Looks like with Kandikane in his life he will be able to lick his problem, though (publicity-wise, of course!)

Wonder if they’ll interview Vista Bill for the movie? Or do a “Surprise” image? I hope Vitamin is up to it.
