For all the creatives who like to post on this site: Wiley Miller is offering an opportunity for those who hunger to design their own cartoons. Give it a try…

One year my daughter insisted upon leaving a tuna sandwich for Santa.I tucked her up into bed and came downstairs to find the cat eating it!One sandwich in the trash. My daughter was thrilled in the morning that Santa had eaten his snack.

By the time Santa got to our house he was sick of cookies and milk, or so my dad said.
So we left pizza and beer.

When my daughter was 10 and my son just 6, she said with a shrewd smile, “Dad, I bet Santa gets tired of cookies and would love a burger.” Santa was very pleased and a new and delicious holiday tradition came into being. She’s in her 30s now, but she can still make a great burger.Happily,C.

Yeah that’s really weird. Speaking of parents, have we ever met Toni’s? Are they even around?
Just to clarify, were you joking here? Didn’t see a “smilie.”
You do know that Toni’s parents were killed in an accident, right?
melmarsh9v almost 10 years ago
As I remember, Toni told Brad that, after the death of the parents, Jonah went wild and met a woman who was wilder yet…

Couldn’t remember. Now she should definitely be there, there’s no way she had to work Christmas Eve AND Christmas Day.
Depends on shift time. Fire Dept. shifts (for paid, city depts.) are usually 24 hours in length. They work one day on 2 days off. So, depending on when the shift begins (i.e. 6a, 8a, or 6p etc.), she might have to work both Christmas Eve and (at least) Christmas Morning. And what time is it now at the DeGroot household? Also, she might have to be looking after Shannon, as well.

“Never trust anyone over 30.”.Makes perfect sense to me, and I have to doubly distrust myself now.

“The Robot.”.I’m glad he escaped the Robinsons, hope he brought back Penny with him, could send Lassie after the mother and forget the rest.

The Daleks are pretty cool, there is a company that is producing 1:1 replicas, much like the Lost in Space Robot. If I would ever get the opportunity to get another robot, It would be Robby from “Forbidden Planet.” Robby appeared in a couple of the LIS episodes.
IIRC, Robby also appeared as “Smilely” in an “Addams Family” episode, as a competitor to “Lurch.” When the gong would go off, both would appear and ask “You rang?” etc. Thankfully, Lurch prevailed in the end. I think, to welcome him back into the fold, Uncle Fester constructed him a new harpsichord, a genuine “Krupnik…” ;-)

Love that robot…

Since you have all this free time, could you volunteer to help out over on ArcaMax? For some reason, the Luann ’toon there has been running in black and white for about 2 weeks now…

It’s fun to pretend to believe in Santa. Everyone needs traditions. :)
