I love the ‘Happy Thanksgiving’ cartoon, Tarry! It’s nice to see The Mole. He does represent those in need.

SAM : " Tracy, aren’t you at the play?"

DICK : “I am, but it turns out Gruesome is one of the Actors here on stage, hes so well disguised you wouldn’t recognize him, with all the Thanks Giving Dressings on, he’s pretending to be that Ham you identified in Vitamin’s sandwich”

SAM : “Ye Gods! Were going to arrest Boris Karloff !”:

DICK : “Just be careful, extra careful next time, Sam, who you call a Ham.”

It’s amazing how Tracy managed to get such nice mug shots, sitting out there in the audience. That Wrist Wizard is a great device. Will they find the new body before or after they try to arrest Gruesome. you can be sure that Gruesome is not going down without a fight, in any case.

Wow, handy thing these wrist wizards, where did this “new file” come from? It looks like summer’s over here in the North..

Actually, I got the DVD “Dick Tracy Meets Gruesome” for my birthday this past summer and yes it does star Boris Karloff as Gruesome (Ralph Byrd was Tracy). So nice Easter egg guys.

I am loving this story. A&OL is a yearly favorite of mine; and Sam sounds like one of the officers in the movie with his, “We’re going to arrest Boris Karloff!” What fun.

I’m going to buy Sam a carton of smokes for Hanukkah!
