Luann seems more mature now. And, Dad is right…enjoy the “honeymoon,” Luann, because once you graduate college/university, things will never be the same again. However, if you pick the right major, Luann, your life will be definitely happier… ;)

Luannverse is like that; remember the bathroom in the Knute Leslie arc, where the restroom doo opened either from the left or the right all in the same strip, and the wash basins were attached to the side of one of the stalls?

Well, you’re three for three. What else do you need to criticize? The bushes in front of the house? Frank’s suit? His tie? The fact that the ball Luann was throwing to Puddles was shown as the same color at her top? Don’t stop now, Mr. Scrooge.

I guess you have to find fault with the built universe since you can’t complain that Luann never attends any classes or takes any tests.

Maybe the garage is detached from the house, and Luann was playing with Puddles in the back yard facing the alley. Therefore, they turned to walk to the house.

Dad GOES to work? I thought his job involved sitting on the couch drinking coffee all day. Good work if you can find it.

So all this build up for Luann’s now in college, so many more things to explore was for not? One semester over with and we saw Luann at college what one or two days?

Yeah, she should just stick to herself and avoid making any new friends till she joins her high school friends at another college and continue the no new people routine.

I never knew what Calvin’s dad did for a living either, but given the resemblance, I always suspected he was the head basketball coach at Syracuse University. (Think about it—did you ever see Boeheim and Calvin’s dad together?!)

It was established in Calvin And Hobbes the Calvin’s dad was a patent attorney.

I don’t get all these “they turned around” comments. Who says they turned around? The perspective changed. He was walking away from the garage in P1 and he still is in P3. Camera angle just changed. And the house you see to the side could be a neighbor’s house.

You really went trough the trouble of trying to reconcile inconsistent background minutiae that nobody cares about? That stuff is laid down quite arbitrarily and such “gotcha” proofs are (yawn) not drawing applause.

Frank & Luann are having a philosophical father-daughter conversation but the comments have been in an analytical mode. The drawings remind me of the maps they made of the consulate compound at Benghazi. Snipers on the roof to the upper left and RPGs on the roof to the lower right. The drone will hover over the red spot and feed pictures to the CIA annex so they can coordinate a counter attack.

This is the most mature and grown up looking I’ve ever seen Luann.

Let’s not forget:,Luann will have another ten years to get through her first couple years of college.

Pitt CC is on break until the end of January? When I was in college you finished your exams about a week before Christmas and then the next term started on Jan 2 or 3, I wonder whether Frank and Nancy are getting their money’s worth by sending Luann to this particular school.

What gave you the idea that Luann is going to work at Mr. Mooney’s bank?

“End of January?” Oh… Luann’s college must be on a semester system. I prefer the quarter system.
