Frank was country, before this couuntry was country….. – I guess Frank and Nancy do a lot of lesson plans, but it doesn’t ever get past… “the teachers’ lounge”….. – “Old Faithful”… “Space Mountain”… “Frank O’Rama”….

At least Luann will be getting some good advice from Bern! ;)
ORMouseworks about 10 years ago
Nope…second ;)
Argythree about 10 years ago
I don’t know which surprised me more: that Luann considered astronomy as one of her possible ‘fun’ classes; that she decided to go call Bernice for a suggestion instead of asking her mother for input; or Frank’s answer to Nancy’s suggestion…

I don’t think a divorce between F & N will ever been on Greg’s agenda… ;)

Just because you’re mature, doesn’t mean you’re dead. Ask anyone who works in a nursing home.
ORMouseworks about 10 years ago
Nope, not yet! Hahaha! ;)
Argythree about 10 years ago
Please don’t encourage him…
JayBluE about 10 years ago
Or up his “sequel number”….
Argythree about 10 years ago
@Brdshtt-Told ya not to encourage certain things…. if this is the direction tonight, I guess I’ll wander off elsewhere….
JayBluE about 10 years ago
Ya gotta be kiddin’ me!!!! – Usually, when they say “we could teach…”, that’s a “subtle cue” just meant for the hub/wife to hear. A “quiet signal” that one is giving the subtlest of complements, and is content …
JayBluE about 10 years ago
And in this case, we are just getting a tasteful glimpse into how successful their marriage is….without having to “bust a gut”" over all the details…..
JayBluE about 10 years ago
Have a good one! For myself, I’m movin’ some people later on, today…
Argythree about 10 years ago
I think I need to sleep anyway, see you all later…

It was a joke, folks! What was he supposed to say, in front of his daughter? The super elective/joke would be Astronomy. How many will sign up for that?

Are YOU Referring to “Human Sexuality” Nancy-bot? Gonna “Jump Start” Franklin and Give Him the “Gift that Keeps on Giving” A Little Early, eh?
Well, Timely Visit From “Dear Little” Shannon, Will STOP That Nonsense.

If it was “ancient history”, Frank would never say so. There’s still enough fire that they kid each other about it!
jenbrown1017 almost 10 years ago
omg!!! you were the first person to post!! YOU ARE SO COOL!!!! Can I be friends with you???
TORAD_07 almost 10 years ago
BTW, I would think that “Human Sexuality” would be the absolute last thing any child would want their parents to teach them! <shudders> Something about “not wanting to see how the ‘sausage’ is made….. or ‘hidden’…” ;-PPPP

Will this be the beggining of a new storyline about Nancy getting pregnant?

Oooh…Mrs. DeGroot…you vixen you…

It’s so sad that, when prompted by a still-hot Nancy, Frank refers to marital sex as ancient history….Maybe he just has a headache tonight.

I don’t care what anybody says. Nancy is a total babe.

If Luann takes Astonomy, will a Uranus joke be forthcoming??
seismic-2 Premium Member almost 10 years ago
Luann considers astronomy to be a “fun” course? Wait until she buys the textbook and sees that it’s all math and physics. I don’t think her decades of slacking off in Mr. Fogarty’s class will be sufficient background for her to understand anything at all about astronomy.

I can see where brad gets his clueless nature from. He is just like his dad about sex. Poor Toni.

The other day, when Luann mentioned the “Human Sexuality” course, Frank got all flustered. When she mentioned it today, Nancy wasn’t disturbed at all.
TORAD_07 almost 10 years ago
He obviously gets it, but is pointing out how little loving they’ve done recently, like a “ohhh now you want to do something, because for years you haven’t wanted to do anything with me”.
We don’t know what their “frequency” has been. And, if the marriage were truly in trouble, I think we’d have seen a lot more dysfunction… more non-communication. I haven’t seen that. In fact, I’ve seen very light hearted, “jocular” moments between the two (i.e. where they “lightly” poke fun at each other). I tend to think this is one of those “poke fun” moments, although Frank has best be careful and ensure she gets the joke. Nancy’s the better “pokester” of the two, it would seem. That, or Frank is not as sensitive to them.
Bottom line, I’m still thinking “glass half full” for now.

Maybe for Christmas, Nancy will give Frank a bottle of blue pills.

In about 5 minutes, Nancy will be getting her own input.

Ha ha!!! Thanks!!!
JayBluE almost 10 years ago
Frank’s quip is not an indicator of a "failed anything ". It’s either a slight show of humility (based on his own estimation that he’s no longer ‘the new kid’/spring chicken), or he is just flat out playfully teasing Nancy, with a bit of “comfortable wit” (not to be confused with “the most interesting man” kind of wit, but a clever retort, nonetheless) as a “continuance” of their conversation, a “throwing her a loop” just for fun. – Either that, or he’s very focused on feeling like he’s “losing the battle with time”….
JayBluE almost 10 years ago
BTW, one of the classes mentioned in Luann’s “list of possible classes to take” was actually thrown in there by Greg, as a “true to life” sort of thing, one of the classes that Karen ended up taking for her “fun class” (it was between Econ and Pop Music History), per the Luann FB page…
Daniel Aplet almost 10 years ago
not really the class she had in mind
rklynch almost 5 years ago
Well, they could teach that one as well. But I doubt that’s the one Nancy was thinking about… ;-)

Oh god, no. That would embarrass me if my parents would to teach in my college.
