The Sunday strip that GoComics posted temporarily on Thursday was a mistake. It will appear again next Sunday in the correct sequence. If you didn’t see the weekday strip on Thursday, be sure to check it out, because it contains excellent artwork by Bill Watterson. You can click on the following link:www.gocomics.com/calvinandhobbes/2015/4/16

@dukedoug: Good thing your Thursday local paper didn’t contain the Sunday strip by mistake. They would have had to print a corrected edition and deliver it to you later in the day.

Bradley and Marsha should be thankful that there weren’t any sharks in the first lake.

When I was a kid, one of my neighborhood friends broke the windows on his parents’ house playing ball. He was made to pay for it through finding whatever money he could. A month or so later, I went to his birthday party where he opened up his presents. Mine was a card with a $5 bill. He told me “Hey, thanks a lot!” Immediately afterwards his mom grabbed the cash and said “And this will go to the cost of the window!” I thought that was kind of scuzzy of her to do in the company of others. I do not endorse window breaking, of course, but couldn’t she wait until he party was over to do her interception? At least I am glad I helped him pay off the debt.

I don’t remember Bradley and Marsha ever appearing in another Calving and Hobbes strip. I wonder whatever became of them.

I think I used to have 2 or 3 toy boats for in the bath.
I miss them. My favourite one had red, yellow and blue colours.

Regarding yesterday’s commit from Hobbes; it appears there are some of you folks who would like to support GoComics but do not possess a credit card. Although it is unusual in this day and age, I applaud you for your desire to pay with cash or maybe a check and avoid the possible addiction credit cards seem to offer..I visit another site almost daily, and I’ll tell you what I did when they asked for support. I clicked on the link and discovered the only option was to use PayPal. Unfortunately, through an online business my wife and I have, I had a bad experience with PayPal and refuse to use their service..Anyway, it was easy to identify the providers of the website, it is a high school reunion site where I can keep track of old classmates, so I sent them an email explaining my situation. I received a polite reply, with an address where I could mail a personal check. I made out the check for an annual contribution, much more than $99 I might add, and mailed the check..A few days later I received a thank you from them and life goes on…

One doesn’t need a credit card for PayPal. A bank account is all that’s needed.

“Standard credit cards are good in the event of a bad purchase or some other malfeasance, that you will not be charged against your account, in effect like having insurance.”
True, I always choose the credit card option. Once my credit card was blocked and I just chose the bank account.

This very thing happened with my youngest son. Good thing we know how to remove a toilet to extract a toy lodged in there without having to call a plumber.
