A strip like this was done a few years ago, but it only had Garfield, Bucky, Bill and Mooch. In this one he add Hobbes, Krazy Kat and Felix.

Where’s Heathcliff? And Garfield looks a bit like the old model!

Lio is wise to keep quiet amid all these other jealous ‘toons. The ’toon-page neighborhood cats may have sniffed out a potential meal, but I’d place my money on Cybil driving them off if she figures it’s all for her! (Although Bill may drop in, unwanted, anyway.)

And I also noticed no Tom of “Tom and Jerry”. Then I realized that all today’s cats are newspaper comics cat, which is why they are there to rip through the borders. Movie cartoon cats, among others, need not apply.

Felix also makes an appearance in today’s Luann. What are the odds?

I wonder why the others are so reasonably accurate except for Garfield?

Ah, sweet Mooch… Next time, perhaps we will see Snow and the Ten Cats!

I love the depiction of tears in the border as the cats come through.

You all see famous (or infamous) cartoon or comic characters, all I see are a bunch of goofy Mark Tatulli animals trying to get at Leo’s bags of goodies…
