One of the advantages of having the Republic support your wedding (even if it is taken over by the ‘Evil Empire’…) is that the State will escort you- and you never have to worry about getting pulled over by a Trooper… – You could even have your reception at Pizza The Hut…

i love the Ewok flower girls… we can have them at the reception feast… a little salt, some lemon, broiled over a wood fire… delicious.

Strange as it sounds, one great thing is to have something funny go wrong w a wedding. It makes for the kind of story people love over the decades. We were married by a state supreme court justice of the state in which we then lived — who arrived tipsy! He began our wedding early, and finished our ceremony five minutes before it was due to begin. If we had not kissed twice two of our guests who arrived a bit late woukd have missed everything.

Um, Brad? It’s not ’we’ll plan our wedding’ it’s actually ‘Toni will plan our wedding’. They guys traditionally just show up (hopefully sober) and say ‘I do!’ (hopefully with some enthusiasm).

I’m not that big of a Star Wars fan, but I think that looks way cool. Certainly much better than Brad and Toni getting married in the DeGroot’s backyard with TJ doing the catering. Please Greg, if you haven’t already written the strips, please, please, please, please avoid this horrid cliche like the plaque. Please!

Good lord, just get married in your church. My church ladies gave me my reception for free. Just because my grandparents, my parents and my siblings and myself were members. Another church lady gave all the flowers. It was beautiful. And affordable.
