Frog Applause appears as a series of blurry lines on their monitor screens.

Dang, poor Ziggy. That’s harsh.Speaking of drones, I recently used a wearable camera to film my drone while it was filming me. Czech it out…

Thankew, Sandboil. Really, I think my video was a bit too long. People have short attention spans these days.

It is called the Akashic Record.Drones in the sky record every action. It is legendary, but mostly thought to be some mystical thing.Today’s random reference is:Judas Priest – Screaming for Vengeance.Roughly one Saturnian year ago.

I posted this over at Luann, since it’s one of the strips I read on GoComics. This is the reply. Is this guy insulting the people who comment on Frog Applause or is he slamming Frog Applause the cartoon? Not sure what he’s saying. Considering the number of comments that Luann gets, what does he mean by “critical mass”? FA gets a fair amount of comments, but nothing like Luann.-———————painedsmilepainedsmile said, about 1 hour agoLuann a threat to national security?http://www.gocomics.com/frogapplause/2015/03/05

Dave.53.Dave.53. said, about 1 hour ago@painedsmilenot so much for the strip itself, as the comment area … it’s starting to reach “critical mass” of radioactive snark.

Luann is one of my regular stops, and I agree that the self-referential Comments Board over there can get pretty narcissistic, snarky, and suspicious. Some of those people may be Persons of Interest, or even Targets of Value, to those who surveil. Cul de Sac is also among my daily destinations on GoComics [and elsewhere—Arcamax], and I will defend Miss Bliss’s innocence: she is basically too flighty and fixated on Timmy “you can’t tie a banjo man down” Fretwork to pose a threat, big bun or not.On the other hand, I avoid the Ziggy neighborhood of GoComics; it’s one of those where angels (that’s me, if you were uncertain) fear to tread. The Frog Applausers, however, both elephants and other species, have good reason for worry, being a mite more free-spirited than the Watchers might approve of. I hope those are not armed drones. Hellfire!

With the all NEW A-BooM-co 1 kW auto-targeting laser, you don’t wait for the holidays to take care of those pesky surveillance drones.Roof-mounted (at a slight additional cost), the A-BooM-co 1 kW auto-targeting laser won’t wait until you’re directly under the drone camera’s eye, the A-BooM-co 1 kW auto-targeting laser immediately locks in on flying objects within a quarter mile and determined to be greater than 34 inches in length (restrictions apply in bald eagle territory) and fires immediately or gives you a “heads up” in the Reveal/Manual mode. ( Reveal/manual also allows you to keep tabs on smaller flying objects, or can be redirected to deter squirrals from your bird feeder.) A-BooM-co 1 kW auto-targeting laser comes with solar panels and back-up storage battery for up to five firings within a thirty minute period. (Available larger capacity batteries not roof-mountable, and may violate HOA restrictions.)Relieve yourself of the tyranny of the skies with the A-BooM-co 1 kW auto-targeting laser TODAY!

I for one am glad that temporary flirtation with self-censored apple polishing convention is over. If you’re in the comics, and you eat lasagna or don’t wear pants, you better watch your a$$.

Rad-ish :OMG! I had no idea someone someone had made a video of that Syd Barrett song!I’ve had it committed to memory since I bought Barrett as an import album sometime in 1971.I’ve warped many an elementary school kid with an a cappella rendition of that song during my time with the Houston school district.(Beats the sh*t out of Barney. )Yes, I had to explain what “effervescing” and “scant” meant, and that it had nothing to do with Dr. Seusses’ Horton )

Frog Applause is like a voice in the wilderness, whispering non sequiturs as raccoons gnaw on your toes.

I’ll say this for Flight Suit: he’s loyal and he follows instructions (kinda like my Wirehaired Pointing Griffon retriever)
