This just occurred to me …

Seems Stiletta is getting precisely the diversion she’d hoped for …

… but is she in any shape to take advantage of it?

Stiletta’s dead. Sure seemed so on Monday, and yesterday Silver spoke of her in past tense. But I understand the skepticism.

Nah. She’s alive. The ambiguous dialog was just so beautifully written. If she was dead, the Nitrates would have said so in no uncertain terms.

Can somebody elaborate on the officer Brozman reference? I usually keep up with this stuff, but I think I slipped somewhere.

1.Stiletta’s dead and Tracy finds her in the Wonder Car, or2.Stiletta’s alive at the drive-in and we’re about to continue the car chase from last year..

I’m probably totally wrong on both.

So, let’s see the MCU spring into action and track this Wonder Car. Will they be able to stop it this time? If so, how will the Nitrates react to being stopped? Gun battle? Surrender? Lena leaps the cops? And what of Mrs. Flattop (or her body)? It is only Wednesday, so the week should be getting even more interesting….

Since when do cowboy stars talk like mobsters?-———Since the 1939 western, “The Oklahoma Kid” starring Jimmy Cagney and Humphrey Bogart!

Could the Nitrates be dumb enough to take off in the wonder car? Or maybe it’s just been spotted parked at the drive-in?-As convinced as I am that Stiletta’s dead, I wouldn’t be surprised if she showed up in Sunday’s strip, standing in a doorway, and with her last breath, throws a dagger at Sprocket, but Silver pushes her out of the way, and gets himself killed.And since I just said that, we all know it’ll never happen.

Well, the term “a sighting” rather than “has been located” means the Nitrates were dumb enough to ignore their own advice and drive it, I guess.

Gee, they sure make it easy for Tracy…..Stilletta takes out Blowtop, Sprocket takes out Stilletta, and now the Nitrates spotlight themselves…….what’s next, the Blackhearts going en masse to turn themselves in at headquarters, lol?

I think Stiletta looks as if she’s dead but is critically injured and is probably dying. Without urgent medical help and hospitalisation she soon will be the late Mrs. Flattop and sadly missed by some.Kandi Kane can only find her if the Nitrates have neglected to pay her for the fake commercial she shot for them.At this point we don’t know if the Wonder Car was spotted parked at or fleeing from the disused drive-in. Either way, I would rather hope that Sprocket has already or will shortly be calling an ambulance to Stiletta. I wouldn’t expect Silver to do it — he’s more the “Let’s get outta here!” hit the panic button and avoid answering any questions later type!

Good afternoon, Gweedo. I picked up “youse” from a Bowery Boys movie I watched after a Vista Bill feature.

Wow..

People from yesterday and today wondering if Stilletta survived or not..I very much doubt that a 70-lb film can upside the head would be anything short of fatal, unless it resulted in many hours of coma before death. Also, in that picture, it looked as though Sprocket hit Stilletta in the temple, or close enough as to make no matter. If Stilletta is not dead, it’s some kind of comic strip miracle.
