Liz: Why don't we dress Garfield up in a cute outfit and take his picture?
Garfield: Yes, Jon. Why don't you do that again?
Jon: That might not be wise.
Garfield: Experience is a dear teacher.
Maybe Jon is also remembering a certain attempt at de-clawing.
For some reason, I’m picturing Garfield dressed as Santa Claus. It probably has something to do with a line from a poem… something about a round belly. ;)
I think it’s cruel to put clothes on animals. Yes, I know that Garfield would look quite cute in clothes (much to his dismay) and seeing as it’s a comic strip, I’ll back off.But if you really must dress something up then buy a doll!xxx

Not just dress Garfield up and take his picture, but post it on Facebook.

I don’t like dressing animals in costumes, not even Garfield. However, he should often “experience” a boot in the ass.

As for Liz, a vet would know that most cats don’t like that.

I wonder how KAWAII Garfield will be if he did wear a cute costume?

I don’t know… Maybe if Liz slips Garfield a little kitty tranq…Oh, yeah. I see a nice photo spread all over Facebook, with a video on YouTube.

Ever notice how the corner of Liz’s mouth extends an inch or so beyond her lipstick? And she’s overdone the collagen a bit.

I’m with Garf – dressing up pets (or children) to be “cute” is just another form of abuse.

Experience isn’t always the easiest way to learn, but it usually leaves a Deeper and more Lasting impression than any other Method!
