Soon, they will all be fighting to see who gets to guard the new addition, mainly because the new addition is so cuddly to sleep with. The problem is that when they look, the outside kitty will be in the small bed.

I donāt think the cats really grasp that the ābabyā is a human kitten. They seem to regard it as simply a strange new pet the man and woman brought home and seem quite fond of.

I love the squinty eyes, and I can almost hear the sneering in Lupinās voice on the line āSome folks enjoy tiny hats.ā (Incidentally, I wear a hat ā not as tiny as Lupinās, but a hat nonetheless ā on a nearly daily basis)
