Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Why do some people here comment by explaining what the comic is trying to say? I can read it and infer what the message/punch line is for myself. I’m sure others here can do likewise and don’t need the redundant useless commentary.
This reminds me of something that happened with my niece when she was 4. She didn’t want her new dress to get dirty but had to try out the new sandbox in the church playground.
@ ComicssfanIf others reading this comic think Elly is rude or even if they think something is charming it’s what they got from the strip and they don’t need someone else to help them with the take home message. You clearly have your own issues that color what you take away from the strip, but your explanations from your point of view in no way influences my point of view on the strip.

But, Elly, big brother Michael told Elizabeth to take off her dirty clothes! It’s not his fault!

My hope is that a totally different arc starts tomorrow. But I’m always disappointed…

Actually, Micheal was just reminding his younger sister of the repercussions of getting her good clothes dirty.

It is doubtful the joke would work if Elizabeth did that gag when she was 13.
USN1977 almost 10 years ago
Why is Elly shouting at Michael for being shirtless while thinking it is a funny to see April running around with no clothes on?
