Where I went to grad school, the undergrad girls didn’t bother with the dorm roof. They were gambrel roofs and you’d roll off too easily (if you could even get up to them anyway). In fact, they tended to populate the old stream bed that ran past the dorms. Even when it was 30 degrees outside. I once asked one of the girls in my class about sunbathing in subfreezing weather. She said as long as the sun was out, you didn’t feel the freeze.
