I wonder if Jimmy managed to fence the gold yet, to get money for the payoff to the Blackhearts. I doubt it. I think he might have misjudged how easy it is to sell gold bars. I just have a feeling that the one-week extension BB-Eyes gave him isn’t really going to be enough.
Nice team of Collectors—Blaze “I don’t get no respect” Rize and big lug Double-Up Double-Up. If Jimmy tries to pay off in gold, he stands revealed to the already-suspicious BB-Eyes; if he doesn’t, he may get his knees broken as a warning and face the threat of death next time…. Jimmy is not in "a good place,’ it seems, having over-reached his abilities—unless he can find a fence not controlled by the Blackhearts!
Jimmy’s crew will be surprised to find Blaze and Double-up at their door, but I don’t think there’ll be any gold bars lying around. But there might be that book of Ongo’s.A quick check with the library (and internet) should tell Blaze enough to link Jimmy to the crime. And a few kind words from BB-Eyes should be enough to get Jimmy to part with the gold.
Neil Wick, if you saw our home …. it was built in 1883 and it’s a carpenter’s dream. It was the first house built on this end of Fallen Timbers Road. Truly a gift from the Lord of Lords & and we just love and enjoy this old place so much and after being here as long as we have I still have a hard time believing it’s ours and now January 2015 it is paid for as well. How cool is that?
You know, ol’ Jimmy might have some bartering material yet! Can you imaging how much that book (with a serial number one-to- four) is worth? With only four in existence, it is probably signed, and would go high on e-Bay! Maybe Doubleup and Blaze will take that as a payoff!
Maybe it’s just me but doesn’t Joe Staton’s art work keep getting better. If you look at today’s and then go back just two years one can see that he is really enjoying his work and the passion of it is manifesting in his pencil. .After reading Blaze’s comment about driving her crazy my first thought is/was “short trip” …. And we know that there are a lot of Blaze R’s on that road right now in this big ole world..I have been driven and have drove to crazy – villa many times. Sometimes I have taken the long way around and sometimes the shortcut but always managed to find my way there. …. but / and then I get lost in the Word and it always seems to bring me back to that safe place and sometimes to that place of peace.. I still trust Jesus and I believe there are going to be more exciting journeys in the time that I have left. Life is really cool sometimes and sometimes is just a plain old fashion drag! May I say with a good & positive attitude; What’s Next?
Good afternoon my friends. As CFinFL has pointed out scratch marks on BB Eyes face are a new thing. Maybe we will learn how he got them in the near future. Be well everyone.
BB-Eyes has always had scars across his face, around the right eye. On March 29th and again yesterday, the scars covered a larger area than usual. Today, we see BB looking like his classic self. The second panel is especially fine. When originally introduced, BB-Eyes (B-B Eyes back in 1942) was a bootlegger of tires. The marks look a bit like tire tracks.
I hope, for Jimmy’s sake, Double Up doesn’t bring his whip with him on the collection call and, if he does, I hope Jimmy doesn’t end up on the business end of it.
Anyone notice that Stilldamatt and Rikki have disappeared off the horizon at the same time? He’ll be a new man when he returns. Hang in there, Vista Bill; you’ll get her back.
B-B’s brother is not exactly a choir boy, so would we miss’m ?
No, I don’t think we would, but it seems that B-B actually would miss him and B-B will be highly motivated to keep out of trouble with Mr. Bigg. A major slip-up might be dangerous to B-B himself and not just to B.D. Mr. Bigg still blames B-B for messing up the Space Coupe plan.

Oh, due day for the vig. Blaze is the collector today. I guess that means that BB-Eyes knows where to find Jimmy.

Doubt Jimmy’s location was a secret to The Blackhearts, as he’s on their collection list.
What they – And Tracy – don’t know is that Choo Shooz was the one who pulled off the train heist.
But BB-Eyes has his suspicions.

As I said last week, BB Eyes could take some heat in this thing.

Well, at least today Blaze and Doubleup will get to Jimmy first – whether they will be able to find out much is another matter.
