Shouldn’t some of these basics have been taught before the season started? If they get to the play downs maybe he’ll learn how to hold a bat. Boo’s got Tilden spooked.
Shouldn’t State Champion Coach Thorp be teaching his State Champ QB the knuckleball to save his arm instead of these breaking balls? Tommy John surgery is just one pitch away.
And in P1 I think the batter might have a better shot at making contact if she wasn’t wearing her helmet like Beetle Bailey.
@ WoodyTBIn all reality , its not what True has been eating but what substances he’s been ingestting . Bobby might be able to shed some light on this .
Hah, Hah. I crack myself up. True as Rick Vaughn, Gil as Lou Brown (Giv’em the heater Ricky!), Marty Moon as Harry Doyle (Just a bit outside!). Knox Foley as Roger Dorn?
Ah, but Tru(e) has never pitched before, so he doesn’t know anything about how to throw breaking balls, split fingers, two-seam, etc. So it is realistic for once.Do you ever stare at the day’s Gil Thorp and wonder, “what the hell am I going to make it say?” I guess most of you don’t, but lately I’ve been thinking that a lot. Especially today, nothing obvious other than the talking ball. But enough about my troubles, here’s today’s especially mediocre Mopped Up Thorp.

Well, I suppose it’s better for Tru(e)’s Boo to smoke Tilden, rather than smoke reefer..Plainly I need more sleep.

Same release point, and it talks as it heads to the plate.

While True learns the two-seamer and the four-seamer, Boo is evidently throwing the no-seamer.

And speaking of coaches, has Mimi made an appearance at any of the games yet? Or Kaz?

What’s Tru(e) been eating? He now appears to tower over Gil. Maybe he should hoop next year after all.

I have these horrible images in my head of Gil having this same conversation with the rookies he traps in the showers.

Gilfan79, that would really be scarey if they had seams.

P-1,hey Rubin and Whigham, advertising tobacco products is still illegal and with Boo’s personality she’d probably be smoken OPs.

P-1, is Boo pitching with Croquet balls?

Why is the Tilden batter using a bowling pin? These budget cuts are taking a toll.

Alas……… there is no joy in Tilden…….. for mighty ‘Stacey’ has struck out.

To the first ‘literalist’ that says how do I know she’s Stacey. I don’t but it fits.

P2: I’ve heard of helmet hair, but I cannot imagine the amount of product needed to get Tru’s hair to look like a cap
