Here in Florida, we understand that feeding bears leads them to have no fear of people. As a result, we are facing a possible bear hunt because bears no longer hesitate to enter older urban areas and have attacked people. -Common misconceptions about this are that the bears doing this were recently misplaced by new construction. That’s not the case; the areas being ‘visited’ have been in existence for 40 to 50 years.
