@Jonathan—-Ward Cleaver was the father character in an old TV show back before color shows, called “Leave It To Beaver”. I would imagine there might be some videos of it on something like YouTube.

In most of the bigger markets there are several TV sub-channels such as METV that run old shows where one could catch up on Leave it to Beaver.

I guess we know the demographics of the people who read and comment on this strip … the social insecurity set.

Still watch Leave It To Beaver reruns occasionally.
