    Actually it’s not a bad idea.You do a nice Guinness Punch, effectively Guinness Stout and sweetened condensed milk, and you run it through the ice cream maker. Sure, you need your freezer set REALLY cold to get it to harden, but it’s good.

    The name will never do though…everybody is so obsessed with diet and fitness today….They’d buy a “Slimsicle” but not a “Stoutsicle”.

    I’ve enjoyed beer floats for many a year. Best if you contrast the ice cream flavor with the beer style.

    Guinness is still brewed in Dublin, but the company is owned by an Italian firm.
