Doesn’t anybody find it odd that the intermission began about two minutes after the play started?

Anyway, it’s nice to see that Sam Catchem (or whoever that guy is) truly appreciates the artistry with which Locher practices the literary technique of building suspense.

I see that I’ve missed nothing….

Sam actually meant to say, Those are great suspenders, Chief.

Locher’s story writing is like his art. It sucks, big time. And Annie is being canceled out and this pile of horse apples is staying on?????????

Could it be the pool of blood dripping into the orchestra pit from the lifeless body onstage, the corpse with the gaping wound? Maybe that’s a clue.

There was more than one ACT? Don’t they mean SCENE. Although the intermission occured shortly after the play started.

I’m surprised they didn’t bleep his first name, too. Well…this is the DICK Tracy strip. I guess that wouldn’t work out well. If you spelled it “Dick Van Dike” you would have guys like me writing in to correct you. I wonder if they will bleep “anal retentive.”

FlighySuit - You could have ‘named’ him. As I read it, I thought that was Jeffery ‘talking’. He’s the only one I know on two boards that thinks ’LONG WAITS’ for something to happen - is SUSPENSE.

Mattie might agree with him and you might have seen his picture, hand raised asking his teacher for something (?) Credit for this cowardly story line ?.

That look on Sam Catchem’s face and pointless verbal expression are indicative of what happens after Locher has had him ‘confined’ on a BENCH WARRANT for 18 months

He seems not all there … incoherent, besotted, mesmwrized … OR … in Trinidad parlance “Toutoulebay” !

I have the sneaking suspicion that Locher & Brozman are doing this intentionally, seeing what they can get past the editor at TMS….but what about us? WHAT ABOUT THE CHILDREN?!?!?!???

What’s wrong with Sam’s face? His nose and mouth are distorted and appear to be separating from his face. Or does he always look like that?

Good God… it looks like Sam was in some horrible accident forcing in the bridge of his nose into his head, and that’s the best they could do putting it back together!
