I don’t see what good up to date charts would be if they thought they were near the Falklands. :)

Anyway, Duke was apparently married when he was introduced, though we never saw his wife. And the appearance of Earl must be proof of something. Still, Duke has never shown the slightest interest in women at all as far as I can remember.

That reef was probably not there three years before; damn those outdated charts …

Obviously Duke isn’t exactly a shining beacon of rationality in an insane world, but I don’t remember him being so tone deaf.

Honey is not that bad actually, aside from that line beneath the glasess that she is usually drawn. Also, I have never seen her in a close-up.As for the tiger bikini, I suppose, as others have said before, seems an obvious reference to Lum from Urusei Yatsura, but in 1982 it must have been very difficult to get that kind of material, except if you were in the cartoon trade and knew people in Japan to send them to you. At the time most likely nobody got the reference. Urusei Yatsura was released in the US until 1987 or so.

Some days I just want to smack Duke!

I thought Ginger had one on Gilligan’s Island..but I could never figure out why the women brought all the clothes they owned on a “Three Hour Tour”.

Honey is still sweet.
