Human rights, what are human rights?

Is Rick getting an early message about his own fate?

The Reagan Years, when Republican philosophy went from “Poor people should be ignored” to “Poor people should be punished”. Now we have the republican presidential candidates calling for a flat tax. Well, of course they are. A flat tax gives a huge tax cut to the rich and a huge tax increase to the poor. Reagan would be proud.

So no explanation of what the heck happened to Alice, then? Oh well.

A huge tax cut to the rich? You are admitting the rich pay a huge amount already then? The bulk of taxes? Will they have to cut back on the size of their mansions, cheaper luxury cars, yachts, airplanes, etc.? Will the poor be then paying more for there tattoos, cigarettes, alcohol, etc.?

What is Trump’s tax situation? How much does he pay? What is his tax bracket? What are his deductions/loopholes?

So what’s changed ?

Let’s not forget there was another Bush brother involved in the S&L debacle that put around 6 million Americans out of their homes and onto the streets. That would be the feckless Neil Bush, of Silverado Savings & Loan.

As a businessman, Donald Trump is a hustler conman at the highest level. He’s convinced hundreds of people to trust him with their money, then bankrupted them and moved on to the next group of credulous investors.He’s declared bankruptcy himself several times, to protect himself from the bad practices he’s inflicted on other people and businesses.For a quick rundown on Trump, go to cracked and look for “Ten Things You Won’t Believe About Donald Trump.”

The sad thing is that 30+ years after this strip was drawn, the economy is still in trouble, and there is still a need for soup kitchens and food banks.

Got to love the portrayal of the homeless as ALL sweet people. Yes the majority are good people, but due to the well intentioned screw-ups who closed the asylums and “protected” the insane with new laws we have turned our jails and prisons into the new asylums.

Is this strip from before or after kind ole Bill Clinton gutted Welfare?

Timely indeed. This is the America that Trump and his “angry Republicans” would like to get back to. Except for the part where there is a soup kitchen.
