I confess. The word “committee” gives me hives. I have served on several. As golf ruins a good walk, lunch is ruined by a committee.

From the look of how long this is dragging, if Elly saved two dollars a day she would have enough money to pay for theatre renovations.

I was once appointed to a committee, the job of which was to advise another appointed committee that advised the regional governmental agency that advised the local governmental bodies. As soon as I figured that out, I quit with a suggestion that they disband.
