ANJA NU?!? Who knew?

Okay! Now I an surprised.

A: Where did she get the gun?

B: Where did she learn ti shoot like that.

C: Tracy better stay where he is for now.

D: She got really really POed

Dick looks like he’s having a nervous breakdown. PTSD, maybe/

He’s still falling.

Amazing how relative gravity is in some places. Einstein would have been gratified.

Anja’s not the only one shooting blanks.

…and in case you missed it, here’s what I just posted on yesterday’s installment:

Tracy is not just surprised; he’s disappointed. Why else would he have intentionally cornered himself in the least defensible, least escapable place in the entire museum, unless he’d been subconsciously trying to end his life? Tracy wants out of this mess more than you do.

By the way, “morrow”, the “D” does not stand for “Dingle”. Don’t you believe in forgiveness? At least one person appreciated my comments. Life is too short to fight all the time. That’s why I said what I did. Yet you still wanted put me down by sticking me with “Dingle”.

Back on Sunday (6/27/10) people speculated who the shooter could be.

I agree that the hand looked masculine. But as GZ observed, the artist isn’t a great cartoonist but maybe this is a drag strip.

Panel 2: Is JB still falling or did he land on the wall? With all the crazy distortions we’ve seen with the Science Museum…

That’s it! Previously the Science Museum was the MC Escher mansion.

First the Blank, now Anja. A quick look out the Science Museum window reveals a line about a block and a half long of people who want to kill DT, armed to the teeth. Tracy just might want to see if there’s any way to fire up the old Stuka’s engine one last time.

For those who go back to the comicspage.com days, Johnny will be airborne longer than Queenie.

Aha! I suspected Anja Nu! On Monday, I said…

“VistaBill said, 1 day ago The shooter could be Anja Nu. She did tell the boys to stop playing and get back on the stage. She’ll get ‘em there if she has to shoot them! After all, it’s time to end the intermission and get back to the show she worked on for years!”

Now it looks like she is going to shoot Tracy!

This looks almost as bad as the Christmas Eve I spilt the punch bowl at my mother-in-laws. Will she do that to Dick?

Okay, where the heck are Lizz & Sam? Is Angina going to try to shoot Tracy with her supreme court guaranteed heat? Has anyone discovered the man doing a remarkable job of playing a corpse on stage isn’t acting?

I give Dick Trite a little credit here: I never considered Anja as possibly the person who shot Nothing. I thought it was Liz.

Usually this strip is sooooo predictable.

Nobody would brandish a gun as Nancy is, though, on the bright side, she does have all of her fingers

Johnny Nothing’s mask fell off, and he still has no face!

If/and when the wounded Johnny Nothing/The Blank lands, he might rebound instantly, pick up his pistol an shoot Anja Nu! The clown in the circus fell 80’ from the top of the cage and was on his feet within seconds as though nothing had happened.

And then the chase would begin anew with Tracy off to a new hiding place… a German tank perhaps. All this with the audience waiting for the intermission to end and not even questioning why the body is still lying on the stage!

Last Sunday. 6-27-10. Angina has pointy fingernails. Last panel, below it. The shooter has smooth, rounded nails. So, before shooting the Blank, she stopped to clip her nails. Or the artist can not keep up with his sketches from panel to panel.

I wonder if she will shoot Tracy 4 really screwing up this play?

As neonleon59 noted, Johnny Nothing’s mask is falling off. This is the 3rd day it’s been depicted doing that. It’s detached from the face !

I guess that in a day or two we will finally see his face. Is he really the Blank’s Grandson or another villain from the past using the disguise ?

“Hell hath no fury than a woman scorned”. Or in this case, having her play messed up. (Never saw this coming…)

Apparently, Tracy’s gun was the ONLY gun in the play without live ammo….

Well, I was gonna say “the ONLY gun in the play loaded with BLANKS”…

I predict Anja Nu will now explain she shot Johnny Nothing to keep him from depriving her of the pleasure of shooting Tracy herself, and then yet another party will save Tracy (since he is too feckless to save himself, arrest criminals, anything like that), and this episode will wind down without any plausible explanation of any of the nonsense we’ve seen, and then Locher will stall around with nothing at all happening until he can think of what to do for the next episode.

What did I predict last time I made predictions? I saved it: “Time for predictions! I predict Tracy will not summon back-up – not with his two-way wrist teevee, not with his cell phone, not by doing any more yelling.

I further predict the rest of the police force will not respond to the yelling they’ve heard already (both from Tracy and from Anja Nu), the dead or dying body, the pool of blood, the gunshots, etc. – no response beyond muttering to each other, that is.

I further predict Johnny Blank will explain everything in between shooting and missing, losing his gun and picking it up again and shooting and missing some more, so once again no detective work will be done by Tracy or anybody.

I further predict the explanation will make no sense at all, and neither will the action we see going on while we listen to the explanation.

Then the episode will end, with nothing explained in any rational way, and we will spring into yet another hallucinatory adventure, each one worse than all the others.”

Well, I was wrong about Johnny Nothing explaining everything in between shooting, dropping his gun, etc. He did all that, but he didn’t do any explaining while he did it. So now it’s up to Anja Nu to provide the ridiculous explanation of motives, plans, etc.

P.S. By the way, we now see Johnny Nothing’s mask has come off but he was wearing another mask under it. How convenient! No face need ever be drawn! If they could only think of a reason for everyone to wear mittens …

Early on in this storyline (Back in the mid-60s), I was thinking Anja Nu was Johnny Nothing’s mom, and the original Blank was her father.

That could still be the case, she got Johnny Nothing out of the way so SHE can kill Tracy….

Fabulous - a character PMS’ing…… now there’s a plot twist.

the legendary DT is now a running, hiding, cowering wimp. what an abomination.

Now if only Nancy Pelosi’s mask would fall off

With the aid of an online translator I can make out your French well enough.

By the way, I am still choosing not to look ahead. I’m making predictions based on the assumption that the idiot (Locher, that is) will keep on doing the same stoopid stuff he’s been doing.

The idea of competing murderers killing each other to save the intended victim for themselves was stoopid in the circus adventure, and repeating it so soon is even stoopider – therefore, that’s what Locher will do. He always introduces the stoopidest plot twists that anyone could think up.

tracy looks very disappointed that the blank was shot deep down, he really wants to get out the plane and this story

Cougar, - You’ve hit the ‘bulseye’ with those two posts coming as close as I’ve seen to describing what is happening in the story, on this board.. And you have managed it in highly ENTERTAINING style.

They capture the style and the confused state of the contradictions that will happen NEXT !
