Jeffrey: Ok, so now what? Should we open it? Danae: I dunno...maybe it's keeping the forces of evil from entering our world! Kate: Yeah, or......the forces of evil rule the world now and have the forces of purity, honesty, and goodness locked in that shed! So...if we open it, we'd either save the world, or destroy it... Danae: Ok...heads, we open it... Jeffrey: And here I was afraid you weren't going to take this seriously... Kate: Now I'm hoping it's filled with monkeys...

And if stands on edge, the whole shed is filled with monkeys?

They still haven’t looked into the window.

I think I’d take Peteys lead and just wander away too… mmm squirrels.
ksoskins about 14 years ago
As everyone in the NBA knows, you don’t want to mess with Shaq.
jnik23260 about 14 years ago
Would it be too hard to look in the window?
green_engineer about 14 years ago
Ahhh jnik23260 beat me to that comment! Anyway, can’t wait to see where this story goes :)
Regarding the spammer, can’t gocomics find a way of just bleeeping some of the words out? It’s always the same ad so If the name or website is bleeped out, the ad becomes invalid.
P.s. it’s personal! Last time I commented on the spammer, I got flagged too grrr!
GROG Premium Member about 14 years ago
I’m hoping it’s just an out house.
hildigunnurr Premium Member about 14 years ago
green_engineer, yes they ought to be able to do something of the sort.
silvrGrl123 about 14 years ago
Hey green_engineer, I think that’s a terrific idea. Here’s hoping that gocomics agrees and does something.
(I can’t figure out why anyone would flag someone for commenting on that #!@!! spammer, though.)

I’m voting for evil lawnmower.
BTW, I thought about the window, but I’m not sure they’re tall enough to see in through it.
alan.gurka about 14 years ago
So now we have Pandora’s debating about opening the “box” in this modern fairy tale. I think they’ll open it (what good would all this tension be if they simply left well enough alone?) and some whimpy, adorable puppy or other creature will be in there, fooling them into its perceived innocence.
Now let’s kill that spammer! I’m tired of seeing him on every comic I read.
DolphinGirl78 about 14 years ago
The shadow in the window looks like a giant paw or my eyesight could be messed up… either way, looking forward to this one with baited breath! :D Well done Wiley!

One or two holes, Grog?
Constantinepaleologos about 14 years ago
If it really has forces of evil in it, you’d think Danae would be eager to open it.
wicky about 14 years ago
Maybe the forces of ho-hum?
connanraspa about 14 years ago

I still say it is where Victoria is being kept.
Is there a crawl space? Does there appear to be any signs of digging?
Justice22 about 14 years ago
I still think it is Jimmy Hoffa or Sasquatch.
jhouck99 about 14 years ago
Petey and Lucy are nowhere to be seen – they obviously know something their humans don’t…
palos about 14 years ago
Perhaps the shed was built to hold up the piece of wood.
jsprat about 14 years ago
Osama?
david5992 about 14 years ago
It’s obviously hiding the next plot device.
lazygrazer about 14 years ago
Can’t help but wonder how those two very obvious windows are gonna come into play….
sthakrar about 14 years ago
Why don’t they just look through the window?
Wildmustang1262 about 14 years ago
The mysterious suspense kept going on and on and on…. Sighhhhhhhh! We are still curious to know what inside the shed is?
Around 1 am, I saw something with the advertisement or selling a thing on the comment box while I read the messages on the comment boxes from yesterday. Now I am so glad someone else flagged on that! Whew!

The concept is a variant on the large red button saying “Do Not Push”.

So, ImaginaryFriend, is that Victoria’s Secret?
bmonk about 14 years ago
When you are in doubt about what you really want to do, consider the case, and flip a coin. Not that you go by what the coin says–rather, as the coin is spinning in the air, and you hope that it comes down one way or ‘tother, you know what you really want…
ImaginaryFriend about 14 years ago
Victoria’s Secret? Good one!
Maybe will will find out what happen to the mother of the girls…
neeeurothrush about 14 years ago
@rdonj - would that be the same bird that dropped the baguette?
fritzoid Premium Member about 14 years ago
Occam’s Razor: If they haven’t done something as immediately obvious (to us) as look in the windows, there’s probably some reason for it. The windows may simply be too dingy to see through.
If Wiley addresses the issue of windows, that’s fine. If he doesn’t, I’m not about to fault him for it.

Maybe it’s a smoke monster disguised as John Locke

And will they be evolution-proof monkeys this time?
Good one Clark Kent!! Or maybe it’s the bunker we saw them shoving our fearless leader, W, into on 9/11.
Let’s hope we have a male taking the bait this time – so females won’t get the blame again.
hildigunnurr Premium Member about 14 years ago
trying2keepup, good one :D
