Tracy was standing on the wing when the plane began to fall, and then he somehow fell back into the cockpit and slid it shut?

Leapin’ lizards! Tracy is one fine acrobat! Liz calls for assistance! I wonder how many will come? She already has the entire police force in the auditorium…

Interestingly confusing. The museum is a place of miracles, it seems.

Bad Pun Panel-Panner.

Apparently when the plane pitched forward it threw DT (dumb Twit) sideways into the previously broken cockpit, probably right onto the control panel where DT had some unintended proctology applied which has left him limp and floping one arm. Talk about a one in a million shot. DT sure is one lucky fellow!!

And after all the effort Spacy put into repairing the cockpit glass, it’s broke again, but small price to pay, some of the drawings had the cockpit in front of the wings, so if he’d been in one of those planes, well……

The art just continues to amaze me! Sam’s profile looks like it’s sliding down the panel! And that arm…a 5 year old could do better…honestly!

So, we have 3 fatalities in a strip run by a syndicate that forbids violence and bloodshed in it? And what’s worse, a story that makes not the least bit of sense. And a lead character that can teleport.

I am amazed that Liz(z) can cast a shadow that looks like a distorted Sam!!!

Looks like the axe damage to the cockpit is back. Amazing. And all it took was a fall to the floor to do it.

Well now we know how much respect Sam (doesn’t) have for Dumb Twit, as he is NOT rushing to see whether or not DT is OK, needs help, etc. etc. Typical bureaucrat.

In panel one, Sam’s profile looks like he’s grown a goatee on his chin. Well, that explains what he’s been doing for the month or so that he’s been sitting in his seat at the play, I guess…

@ SmithRA–on a million-to-one shot, remember the law of large numbers which can say million-to-one odds can be achieved over 280 times a day in the US, and in 3 out of 3 panels of DT…

I’m losing track of all the inconsistencies…maybe Locher writes this for 5 year olds who he thinks won’t remember the details. Remember, it’s been over 75 years since he was that age…

I found gocomics only 7 months ago. I’ve struggled through DT’s lame scrips and bad drawings, simply because of the responses from fellow readers that remember the classic Tracy. I’ve even commented a couple of times. But this is absolutely the most juvenile, idiotic, poor excuse for an adventure strip I’ve ever seen. Maybe it is written and drawn for 5 year olds. But Family Circus’ “kid” draws much better and it makes sense. What do I do? Stop reading it? It’s almost like passing a wreck. You gaze wondering what happened. What has hapenned to our Tracy?

Remember what happens when a cop calls in squads, paramedics, & backups in this strip. Will anybody show up at all? Or will there be a token response that disappears without a trace as soon as it becomes inconvenient for the criminals? Gentlemen, place your bets….

TMS is definitely getting its money’s worth out of Locher and Brozman. Usually you have to have a large staff to get as many continuity errors as they pack into each day’s strip.

Hey, is Tracy trying to flash a “shaka” sign, but is too tired from jumping in and out of the cockpit to flash it properly. Or maybe he wants to flash that other kind of sign to Liz and Sam for being so slow in coming to his aid. I guess we’ll never know what Anja Nu’s motive was for trying to kill Tracy other than him and Blank spoiling her play.

This strip needs a new two-part name. Dick Tracy-Comic Comments.

That is where the fun lies, in the comments.

In panel 2, the entire forward portion of the plane, including the canopy, is disintegrated. Where did the canopy with the arm in panel 3 come from?

The inconsistencies in the strip are absolutely ridiculous!

I truly feel sorry for brownceb and his inner conflict over modern Dick Tracy !

Were readers to take it seriously it would be a reason to cry.

Better to think of it as a daily visit to an ’Amusement Park’ … as Locher no longer appears to take it seriously and threw in the ‘towel’ a long time ago, focusing more on sticking in one PUN per day. But it’s the QUALITY and VARIETY of COMMENT that brings readers BACK … for their morning chuckle with a cup of coffee.

And to appreciate most, you have to read the strip !
