If he can tell that a plant needs a new pot, and recognizes a begonia, It sounds like John has an interest in gardening.I don’t remember the old strips, so maybe we’ll see he has a green thumb.

Why do people do this? Complain about the neglect of something, anything, and they themselves don’t lift a finger to help out when they are certainly IN a position to help?

Maybe John should quit his job so he can stay at home and water the plants while Elly continues to crusade for free, money being so overrated and everything. He IS overreacting here, but he’s also paying all the bills and putting all the food on the table.

Michae’ls toilet training? You are aware that Michael is in the later years of elementary schoool at this point so his toilet training was done years ago. Perhaps you meant Elizabeth’s?

I share his concern for the plants, but a few days ago (Sept. 26) he could have shown a little of that concern for his human daughter! What a jerk.

Just do what I do, and Flag him.

I’ve tried watering the plants that obviously need it – and then get fussed at because I’m drowning the plants. I think what’s really happening is my wife and I have the same tolerance for dryness – so we both see it soon after the other, and both water it. For a while I tried to give them just a little water; but eventually I had to just give up & admit they’re hers until they die.

LOL…

Get off your butt and water the plants, John. Maybe mitigating the plant abuse will help make up for your verbal abuse.
