    And while i feel equal to anything, I don’t see the need to be equal with anything to do Y.

    Need more info on y such as a parallel equation before we can solve for x

    You’ll need X-tra classes to figure that out.

    X = (any number less than 15) and Y = (any even number => 0 and <= 30). Of course that excludes getting into negative numbers.

    You need more information to solve that problem.

    I’d answer this but math isn’t in my job description. Oh, yeah – I’m retired, I don’t have a job. I’m still not answering.

    Most algebra I classes do assign lots of exercises in “isolating variables” in single equations before they throw systems of equations at you.In the given example, you can isolate x or y. You can solve for a reflexive equation with either x or y. But you can’t solve for a constant without a second true equation that restricts the value ranges of x and y a to single constant.y=30-2xy=30-2(15-.05y)y=30-(30-y)y + (30-y) = 3030-y = 30-yorx=15 – .05(30-2x)x=15 – 15 – xx-15 = x-15Systems of equations can be complexified to include any number of equations and variables.

    x = 15 when y=0.y = 30 when x=0It is a straight line.the shortest distance between two points is a straight line.

    “He supports x’s belief that he is a y trapped in a x body, and, therefore should be allowed to use the y bathroom.”worse than that, he wants to undergo surgery to be converted from one to the other, and since he’s currently residing in the state penitentiary, it has to be done at taxpayer expense.

    Don’t worry, little boy. Pursue higher math and you will find the possibilities for x are limitless.

    Great question. When you have a philosyphy degree, you can argue it out with the math proffesor!

    Hoo Ray for new math. New math It. won’t do a bit of good to review math. It’s so easy. So very easy. That only a child can do it! Tom Lehrer.

    Algebra isn’t only about the “x”; it’s also about the “why.”
