Magnify the picture, then right click and copy it. Paste it into an image editing program. Then you can see it. (At least that works on my ancient XP.)

And it came through better in the email version because they use a gray background instead of a white background. It looks like a .GIF transparency layer issue.

Wow, Ron-Ar’s method worked for me too..Yes, BlackOrchid…maybe somebody accidentally set black as the transparent color, instead of white, in the black layer of the gif…

A simple program like Paint doesn’t recognise two transparencies, and still shows it as black….

I’m not sure it’s the same as what happened in yesterday’s Non Sequitur.

I am so looking forward to The Martian I am 65% through the book and it is a great read. I work in the aerospace industrial. I have not had a single geez this would not work moment.

    Bakumanfan, that is high praise.

I figure it will be a good movie because Matt Damon tends to go for realistic (and a bit mind-bending) projects rather than far-fetched crapola. Good to know he is staying true to form.

Inverted, who had a bad night? I didn’t point at any specific person, but it wasn’t posted in a readable condition.
