Why is Mr. Newman holding back? Is he somehow involved with the murders

I’m sure a one-shot Mysta Maid appearance would perk up these comments.____________________

    Probably.

I’ve the sense a few of our regulars might be playing hurt this week, too.

It’s good to see Tracy doing real detective work. He’s got Lloyd Newman squirming, too. Something may come of this interrogation….

Interesting artwork – VERY good portraits of of the protagonist and the two actors playing him.

Going back to George’s brief contribution to this story a few days ago, Mr. Takei made a remarkable sound rebuke of a Roanoke, Virginia mayor’s invokation of WWII internment camps to justify turning away Syrian refugees. http://playbill.com/news/article/george-takei-fires-back-at-va-mayor-who-implied-japanese-american-internment-was-justified-372376

Gweedo stated,Good morning still one screen Bill !-—————————————————————-.G’morning Gweedo. I’m pleased with my decision. Comet’s environment has enough clutter already. One monitor for me it is! It was a fun trip, though.

Night-Gaunt49 noted,Whatever decision you have made is the right one for you.-———————————————————-.Good morning, Night-Gaunt49. If I get restless, I can go back. Meanwhile, I’m fine with my single 23" wide screen led/lcd/tft monitor.

Yes, I wouldn’t mind a walk-by of Mysta. Take her out to dinner and movie — maybe "Dick Tracy’? :)

People have been complaining that Tracy doesn’t do enough detective work. So now he’s doing detective work. Now they’re complaining that he’s doing too much detective work. Bah.Curtis and Staton should just ignore the chronic bitching and write the story the way they want to, like Gould did. Even at their lowest ebb, this strip has been light years better than it was in the 20 years before they took over.Though I do agree that a quick scene or ten with Mysta would make everything better. Always.

Mr. Takei lived that internment with machine guns in towers and barbed wire fences. The milk of human kindness turn bitter.

I don’t think he’s bitter, but I guess that’s not what you’re saying. Mr. Takei did live the experience and he’s not afraid to call a spade a spade.

I lament that we are not all strip historians and cataloguers …

I certainly don’t think it’s necessary for everyone to be strip historians or cataloguers, but I do have to say that I have tremendous respect for Sydney, even if I don’t always agree with his viewpoints. Everyone has a viewpoint, even the readers who have far less than 1% of the knowledge that Sydney does, and I think that it’s only all of them put together that make this comment board such a rich experience. It’s the interaction among all of the people who comment here that makes it so great.

Welcome to the strip, 10 years hence. We do try, and I’m a bit younger than you but you’ll just have to guess.
