Does that ride even run on diesel?
Wow. That takes 64 gallons of fuel to go a mile.
Fuel consumption in metric units? That’s way too un-Merkin (particularly for a “Humbler”).
Nasa’s mobile launch pad, which was used to launch the space shuttle, got a whopping 3-5 meters per gallon when fully loaded.
Maybe they should rate it in “GPM”
(Gallons Per Mile).
A sure sign of microphallia……….
Did you ever wonder why gasoline is metered out in 1,000ths of a gallon? That’s approximately one and a third teaspoon. At 16.5 mpg (typical SUV mileage) that’s about 70 feet: enough mileage to get you to the next gas pump.
