I was THAT star struck once. I had the opportunity to meet NASCAR champ Bobby Allison, who is my hero. I had written a poem (yes, about NASCAR) and wanted to give him a copy. When I got up to the table, I was frozen. I just handed it to him and said, “God bless you.” My usually laconic husband had to do all the talking.

I was aghast when the person behind us in line suggested that Mr. Allison sign a copy of my poem & give it back to me, and shocked when Mr. Allison AGREED! I still have it, in a frame.

I thought it was very witty, although I found the addition of Dagon confusing.

“Selfish antagonism”? Nah, it’s just mean-mindedness from small minded people. Same ones who have to point out every spelling mistake or grammatical error. Probably don’t have much else to do.

The current Pope would probably accept the compliment with his usual good humor.

Never really understood the need to tear down someones’ faith. You don’t like it? Or you don’t believe? So what?

The current Pope wears about the simplest hat possible. Is this strip a rerun from Benedict’s time?

Oh please you atheist…fools…give us a break….I know you fools…you just can’t help it with your small minds and, your typing fingers…Just think for a second…Maybe…just maybe..there is something mightier, greater then you..(I know…you can’t)

I am thankful that current popes no longer encourage jihads.I wonder at those who don’t understand the implications of the fact they long did..No REAL foundation
