Should she lie to True or tell True the truth about Dory’s lie? Then would True tell Gil the truth about Dory’s lie or dish out some True justice and make Dory face the consequences of his untruthfulness?
Nice to see that True’s injury is getting special treatment, considering he’s a Division I prospect. If he were an ordinary player, Gil would say, “What difference does it make what shoulder it is? He’s got no future anyway.”
I wonder if the guy with the yarmulke on in P1 is another lineman that sat out like Sandy Koufax did.
Soon to be former State Champion Coach Gil envisioning his baseball season going the way of the buffalo also in P2.
Who’s the chick with the club foot ratting out Dorky in P3? Maybe (former?) State Champion Coach Gil can recruit her as the new field goal kicker much like Tom Dempsey. Nice old school Chuck Taylor’s Tru’s sporting, too.
P1- Nice to see Trainer Rick Scott make a seasonal cameo. P3- Is that the chick who was allegedly stalking True a couple of weeks ago? Where is the hidden camera? Is she wired for sound? This is a buffet of litigation primed to pop like a pimple.
“Maybe” it’s a separated shoulder? I’m no doctor, but wouldn’t that be obvious? Where’d they get this trainer, just some random dude off the street? And who’s the stool pigeon in P3? The chick that the camerman lied to saying Tru(e) liked her? We don’t give credit to the writers for the complexity of their plot! See how it all ties together? So what’s next – Tru(e) rats out Dory? Or takes the law in his own hands? Either way, Dory ends up off the team and Tru(e) and Jarrod face an onslaught of sacks the rest of the season – playdowns bye bye.
Just noticed two things in panel three:.1.) Looks like Tru(E) has on a pair of high top Chuck Taylors.2.) Looks like some alien language on that plaque or whatever that thing is on the wall.
P-1 Gil shows us his Bruce Campbell look (minus the chain saw hand).P-2 Be extra carefull with this (information). I can still get some great odds at the casino.P-3 If you play Kneesies with me I’ll tell you everything you need to know
Oh, and why is he wearing an arm sling? Shouldn’t he be in a shoulder sling if anything? They need to replace Captain Stubing as their trainer. And speaking of replacing, replace the boringness of today’s Gil Thorp with the awesomeness of today’s Mopped Up Thorp.
Did I miss a resolution of the issue with Leisure Suit Larry making Gil look like he is playing the “could haves and should haves” with Carter S. Carter?

Now we know where Merrill Stubing ended up when he had to retire from the Love Boat.

Why is Gil discussing True’s injury with a priest?

Since Father Time in P1 has two left arms, he should be able to council True.

With as much time as the Mudlarks have between games, Tru(e) has plenty of time to recover from a ruptured kidney, let alone a separated shoulder.
