Transcript:
Lupin: Cats everywhere have been locked out of the bedroom. Puck: Lupin, Puck here, live where there must be some kind of mistake. Puck: It's bedtime and some reporters need to sleep in their usual spot. Elvis: The door is shut because SOMEONE thought he could walk along the baby bassinet like a tight rope -- Lupin: I CAN. Lupin: I'M REALLY GOOD AT IT. Puck: Ma'am? Woman: Good night, Pucky. Puck: I'm just gonna give it a jiggle. Woman: Puck, c'mon. Elvis: This reporter is settling down on the couch to wonder why some cats ruin EVERYTHING. Lupin: I haven't ruined the couch. Woman: It's just for a little while, Pucky. Puck: You know, you don't have to let who's - their - whiskers in. Elvis: Who's going to patrol the windows and the corners and the ceiling and all the shoes? That's what I'd like to know -- Puck: Elvis, please, if I don't get 16 hours I'm just not myself.

Elvis tried to steal the babyâs breath only once. And he was only borrowing it. He was going to give it back.

My Mozart used to jiggle the door from underneath until it popped open â old building, it didnât take much. He wouldnât tolerate shut doors at all :-)
Puck is just too adorable today, âwhoâs his whiskersâ hah!

Todayâs is such a treatâŠevery panel is adorable. Yes, Pucky, too true: we ALL need to sleep in our usual spot, man and beast alike. Lupin, you just learned the meaning of âJust because you can doesnât mean you should.â And everybody, you are just as cute as can be in that last panel, with your jammies, your nighttime routines. I love the fact that everybody settled in together. Perfection!

As a rule, my cats never worried about a closed door, unless I was on the other side of it (presumably doing something interesting).

Remember the section in Sad Cat Diary where the kitty has been left outside the bedroom and intends to stand post until he dies. Such loyalty! Such persistence! Such, well, charm is the only word.

Panel 7 is so my younger cat Hamlet⊠rather appropriately he looks a lot like Pucky, only with all his legs (not that thereâs anything wrong with three-legged cats, all cats are adorable and awesome)
