The Grim reaper has heard that straight line before.

With a giggle like that, maybe the Underworld’s ferryboat operator *is* named Karen.

and you meet interesting people, but only once.

The *giggle is just disturbing.

Reminds me of the show Dead Like Me.

I thought it was a dead-end job.

When you spend your work day poling a boat over the River Styx, you’ve got to get your giggles when you can.

I wonder who’s fool enough to actually click on the spam links? There must be a reason why this keeps up, since the spamme only makes money when somebody clicks, and maybe buys something.

NEVER buy from a spammer. That, and maybe reporting them to their ISPs (most of whom will disconnect the spammers for violating TOS) are the only ways to really stop them.

Tomb it may concern: Make no bones about it, this boatman has a shady position. I don’t know how much it pays but I’m sure he makes a killing! He’s playing out in the Styx, he has a grave sense of humor, sounds like some comedians I know of.

I’m just rereading “Soul Music.” Seeing this and today’s Argyle Sweater makes me want to post IN SMALL CAPS!!

My question is on Karen who are they referring to? The comic on this strip reminds me of my so-so death job. And I just got slammed Thurs. Made me so very mad.

Actually, few people see the boatman. They never realize that life is the journey that it is.

Just his luck: he doesn’t get the Grim Reaper, but the Jovial Reaper. My luck: I’d probably get the Punny Reaper–but many would say that’s ironic justice….
