Cute, but precise. Considering the origination is a character from Turkey. But then you can add being “placed” far north which would evolve the skin to be lighter over time.

Santa (and Christmas) is about love not color.

I miss hats flying up. That used to be used a lot in comics.

How often does Joe’s hat fly up in fright? I know with his mom driving his hair flies up.

St, Nicholas was a bishop in Myra, which is located in what is now modern day Turkey. Jesus was probably born in the spring, and the liturgical colour for spring is green, so yes, the original robe would have been green, with white ermine trim. In Europe and the UK, he is still dressed as a bishop.

According to Wiki, writers from well before the Rennaissance (which started in 11th C Spain) wrote of the Druids, as did the Romans to a lesser extent. Archeologists are also able to supply a fair amount of information on them.
We do know that the Easter trappings (bunny, eggs, tulips, etc) came from WAY before the Christian era. It is widely believed that they came from the early Mesopotamians. The pagan Easter celebration goes back at least 4000 years, and celebrated the resurrection of the sun (sic) at the vernal equinox (Spring). Passover was then celebrated by several cultures, including the pre-Christian Eqyptians.
The early Christian church is notorious for hijacking pagan holidays. This is well-documeted in early Church writings.

Race is unimportant until someone tries to make it so, thus ruining everything for everyone.
